Published in a very limited edition, probably not more than 300 copies. A very rare large paper copy with author's autograph dedication to a fellow surgeon. The author was probably one of the most curious figures in Belgium medicine of the period. He was notes as a war surgeon and obstetrician. He wrote several interesting books and paper related to the medical history of Bruges. This work has two chapters. The first is devoted to the Epiciers-Droguistes of the "Kuyd-Halle", which originated in the 13th century. The second part is devoted to the Apothecaries of Brugge.
