The very rare first (and only) Dutch translation by H.A. Bake of d'Outrepont's thesis: "Perpetua Materiae Organico - Animalis Vicissitudo", Halle, 1798, which was also published in J.C. REIL, "Archiv fr die Physiologie IV, B. 3e Heft, Ss. 460". D'Outrepont was an outstanding German obstetrician, who succeeded Adam Elias von Siebold as professor of obstetrics at the University of Wrzburg. -- (Separated from: Verhandelingen en Waarneemingen t.b.d.
