‎ L’exposition s’est tenue du 9 au 28 décembre 1907. Texte de Roger-Marx qui notait un «art sensible et profond» où «tout compte, tout parle, tout exprime.» Avant de se consacrer à la peinture animalière pour laquelle il est surtout connu, Simon Bussy (Dole, 1870 – Londres, 1954) avait débuté par la peinture de paysages: l’exposition présentait des paysages d’Ecosse et de Provence.‎
