‎London, Peter Jackson, Late Fischer, Son, & Co., 1848. In-8 de [2]-153p., pleine percaline noire d'éditeur, plat orné du titre, de l'auteur et d'une mappemonde dorée, tranches dorées. Bel exemplaire dont seul le portrait de l'auteur en frontispice est un peu piqué. ‎

‎ Edition originale. Envoi autographe de l'auteur sur la page de garde à Jean-Auguste Bost, signé et daté du 23 mai 1850. Bost était un pasteur, rédacteur au Journal de Genève. Du vendredi 18 au mercredi 23 l'activité du libraire sera au ralentie quant aux interactions sur internet. La librairie sera fermée vendredi 18 et lundi 21 avril.‎
