Antonio de Sancha, 1785, in-4°, 21 x 14,5 cm, xlix + (3)(erratas) + 708 pp + xcvi (appendices) , bound in contemporary full leather, smooth gilt spine, headcap missing, binding with some slight wear but interior fine. Spanish (Castillian) translation of Dr. Buchan's famous '' Domestic Medicine'', which first appeared in English in 1769 and of which19 English editions were published during his lifetime, over 80,000 copies in all. It was translated in most European languages. This is most probably the first edition in Spanish. (See Palau 36539 for an edition of 1786 , Navarra University Library FA 151.235).
