Bon État
1683-1691 Four volumes (complete). [14], 1140, ccv, [2], [62], 848, cxc, [2], [16], 1198, cxc, [2], [66], 949, ccv, [2] p., each volume has one or two engraved plates, contemporary full red calf, spine with 5 raised bands and richly gilt compartments, covers gilt and edges of covers gilt, inner dentelles gilt. Edges gilt. Marbled end papers. Some rubbing but still a quite attractive binding with outer ends spine still intact. A few annotations on free endpapers like:’’St. Esprit priez pour moy’’) and some Latin inscriptions. The ‘’Automne’’ volume is missing free endpaper at the back. The numbering is not consistent as there are gaps in the numbering but this seems intentional as the binding shows no signs of loss (except for two leaves cut out in the ‘’Printemps’’ volume). Attractive set!
