‎London, Howlett and Brimmer, 1824. Small 8vo. Bound in 2 very nice full red longgrained morocco, richly gilt backs, all edges gilt, broad gilt and blindtooled borders on covers, inside gilt borders. With 4 halftitles, 4 engraved handcoloured frontispieces and 76 fine hand-coloured plates (stipple-and line engravings), in all 80 plates. Text, as well as leaves fine and clean.‎

‎A beautiful copy of the Howlett & Brimmer edition from 1824, based on the original French edition from 1811. - Colas 435 and Lipperheide No 1525. - Abbey No. 535.‎
