First and only Dutch transalation. Bouillon-Lagrange, author of several classic works on pharmacology, wrote this paper following the publication of the Pharmacopoea Borussica editio II (1801). In it the author gives many suggestions to reform a future French pharmacopoea. The original article was published in "Annales de Chimie, Tome xxxiii, P. 232ff. .-- (Separate from: Verhandelingen en Waarneemingen t.b.d. Genees- Heel- Verlos- en Scheikunde, Uitgegeven door H.A.
