Roma, Critica Fascista , anno VIII ( 1930), in-8°, 146 pp, bound in red half-leather, boards covered with marbled paper, gilt title on smooth spine. (Binding with small traces of wear). The book contains a manuscript ex-dono - signed ''futuristicamente'' - from the author to Lo Duca, and also a typed letter on the stationary of the Italian Ministry of the Coroporations signed by Bottai. The letter dated 18-10-1930 thanks Lo Duco for sending Bottai a copy of his novel ''La Sfera di Platino''. The letter also explicitly refers to the preface which Marinetti wrote for the novel. At this time Bottai was the minister under Mussolini of the ''Ministerio per le Corporazione'' . Bottai left Italy and took part as a French Legionaire in the final battles against fascist Germany. Lo Duca ( Milano 1905 - Fontainebleau 2004) started his career as a literary critic and writer in Italy. He published his first novel ''la sfera di platino'' in 1927. In 1935 he migrated to France where he became involved in ''Les Cahiers du Cinéma''. The book carries also his printed ex-libris. Interesting copy of a book which originated at the heart of Italian fascism and which binds two persons who by a strange coincidence both ended in France before the fall of that regime..
