‎Boîte ou étui de transport du XVe siècle.‎

‎ Un étui à livre du XVe siècle, très probablement pour un livre de prière (livre d'heures, missel, bréviaire...). La boîte en bois est recouverte de veau brun noir entièrement estampé. Taille : 17 x 14 x 7 centimètres. Ces boîtes de transport sont plus rares aujourd'hui que les livres d'heures ! /// de //// 15th century book slipcase, probably for a manuscript prayer book (a book of hours, a breviary, a missel...) It consist of a wood box, with its lid, entirly covered with a calf skin, blind stamped with floral decoration. This box was intended to be carried with a shoulder strap.
