‎Deze oeuvrecatalogus verschijnt gelijktijdig met de tentoonstelling in het Chabotmuseum in Rotterdam, t.g.v. de toekenning van de Chabotprijs aan een van de bekendste Nederlandse schilders (1924). Naast de grote reproducties van de 137 schilderijen van 'A' schilderijen (zeer goed afgedrukt), waarin een idee wordt verbeeld, en enkele 'portretten' (met de titel in het Nederlands en Engels) wordt alleen in het Engels uitgebreide informatie gegeven over gebruikte materialen en technieken, signering, datering, huidige verblijfplaats en dergelijke. Met elf kleinere afbeeldingen van de 26 overige werken. In de (N/E) inleiding beschrijft Rutger Kopland het ontstaan van een serie gedichten naar de reeks schilderijen van Westerik over 'afdaling op klaarlichte dag'. Cor Blok geeft een korte omschrijving van de situatie van de schilderkunst in Nederland (Den Haag) in de jaren vijftig en laat dan aan de hand van vele voorbeelden zien hoe Westerik, uitgaande van de zichtbare werkelijkheid, met zelf ontwikkelde symboliek en een sterk ontwikkeld gevoel voor lichamelijkheid van een situatie of idee, zich in het beeld tot de essentie beperkt. Illustré de 7 reproductions photographiques de dessins de Michel Larionov, tirées sur papier couché et contrecollées. Le peintre Michel Larionov fait à Paris la connaissance de Jacques Povolozky, éditeur dont l'épouse dirige la galerie d'art La Cible ; les deux immigrés russes s'attèlent bientôt à un projet commun de diffusion des "Douze", important poème sur la révolution bolchevik, et en publient successivement une édition française (avril 1920), une édition russe augmentée d'une poème (juin 1920) et une édition anglaise (automne 1920). Les deux premières paraissent au nom de La Cible. Chef de file du symbolisme russe, Alexandre Blok, quelques mois seulement après la Révolution d'Octobre, déroute son lectorat avec "Les Douze" récit de l'épopée de douze Gardes rouges assimilés aux apôtres. Tandis que les uns critiquent la structure fragmentée du texte et la vulgarité du style où mots d'argot côtoient onomatopées, d'autres accusent Blok d'avoir trahi ses idéaux au service de la révolution ; les bolcheviks, pour leur part, condamnent son excès de de mysticisme.
