Publication to present the museum or collection Scryption. This collection of artefacts relating to the history and technique of art of writing and its uses in the office was formed by the ardent collector Father Ferrerius van den Berg. It became a museum in 1989 upon the death of Van den Berg. The museum survived 22 years and was closed in 2011. Apart from pre-industrial tools susch as pens etc. the museum had a large collection of typewriters, dictaphones etc. It included also the famous collection of typewriters of the Dutch author Willem Frederik Hermans.
