Scarce edition of Bergman's collected chemical and physical dissertations and memoirs. The publication of the work was initiated by Bergman himself and the first 3 volumes were published in Stockholm. After Bergman's death Hebenstreit reedited the work and reprinted the 3 first volumes in Leipzig together with volume 4-6. The copy here is the first Leipzig-edition and the most complete as vol. 1-3 were expanded and contains in all 72 dissertations and memoirs which hereby forms a collection of all the author's scientific papers. - Duveen p. 66 - Partington III:p. 183.
