12. Complete series of the architectural art inventories of Belgium ( Flanders ) . Luik-Turnhout, Mardaga/Brepols, 1971-1996, in-8°, 22 x 16 cm, each volume ca. 600-800 pp, with numerous coloured & b/w ills. publisher's cloth with d.w., 15 volumes in 39 parts, in all ca. 26.000 pages with as many illustrations. (in fine condition, lacking only some dustwrappers). Published by the Ministry of Culture, this project aims at giving a systematical and complete architectural inventory with descriptions and illustrations of the whole country. The work is subdivided according to historical and political frontiers, the main division being between the northern (Flemish) and southern (Walloon) part of Belgium. Here on offer is the complete series for Flanders and Brussels. The older volumes are mostly out of print. The new ones and the still to be published volumes (approx. 6 vols) are available from Brepols publishers in Turnhout (Belgium). A complete description is available on request.
