Inspiré par Balthus et par Bacon, il pratique un art souvent ambigu. Il fera partie avec Hockney, Kitaj, Dine, Olivier O. Olivier des peintres réunis par Jean Clair pour son exposition La nouvelle subjectivité en 1977. Très beau dessin à l'encre bleue sur la page de titre, signé et daté. ‎
