London, Collins, 1952, in-4°, 28 cm, 222 pp with photographs by Baron, Bound in full red leather by the publisher. This is copy numbered 23 (of 50) especially bound. It bears the autograph signatures of Baron and Haskell. Ex-dono copy ''A mon grand seigneur à toi. Bill''. Fine copy. Baron (his real name Sterling Henry Nahum) (1906 - 1956) was a dance, film and celebrity photographer. In this publication he offers a fine overview of the revival of classical dance and ballet after World War Two. Baron was a personal friend of Prince Philip and took e.g. the official photographs of Elizabeth's mariage.As I bought the book in Paris and the dedication is in French, unidentified ''Bill'' must be a French connection (?).
