‎Edition originale. Ni Maurice Malleret, ni Maurice Sarazin, dans leurs bibliographies des auteurs bourbonnais n'évoquent la personnalité de Marie-Alice Barachy. On sait sur le titre qu'elle fut lauréate des jeux Floraux. Les registres d'état civil font mention de sa naissance à Saint-Loup (Creuse en 1910 et de son déces à Désertine (Allier) le 30 septembre 1990. ‎
