‎Babin Nikolay Semenovich est un artiste-graphiste russe dont l'oeuvre est essentiellement consacrée à l'art de l'affiche. Etudiant à la Krasnodar School of Art & Design (1948-1950 ou 1951), il poursuit ses études au Moscow Regional Art Pedagogical School of 1905. Il a travaillé avec les maisons d'éditions soviétiques telles que “Fine Art” et "Plakat” créant simultanément pour la USSR Art Fundation. N. B. était membre de l'Union des Artistes de l'URSS et a reçu en 1978 le titre d'artiste émérite de la République Socialiste Fédérative Soviétique de Russie. ‎
