Annenkov, Yuri Pavlovich (1889-1974) was an outstanding Russian portrait artist, theater and film figure, writer, and a prominent representative of Russian-French modernism and avant-garde. He was one of the most talented artists of the left art movement, skillfully combining cubism, constructivism, and realism in his work.
