Noel-François-Mathieu Angot Desrotours (or des Rotours), born in Falaise (1739), died in Rotours in 1821. In the Almanach Royaux of 1782-1791 he figures as 'Premier commis des monnaies'. The work deals with Mirabeau's monetary ideas: keeping the price of gold and silver as low as possible, and presents an outline for a new monetary system.
