Outer margin of the upper cover with some very slight soiling, further a very fine copy with a flawless interior. Printed in 250 numbered copies. This is copy 131 on japan paper. Very nice Dutch Art Nouveau book production. Illustrated with 19 engravings by the great Dutch orientalist painter and engraver Marius Bauer ( 1867 - 1932 ). The endpapers and the 48 ornamental engravings were designed by Gerrit Willem Dijsselhof ( 1866 - 1924 ) . The French text is a translation made by the French speaking Swiss symbolist artist William Ritter ( 1867 - 1955 )..
