The student - writer has added at a later date, above the title, the following : ''Catechismus dictatus Lovanij a R. P. (xxe)ctissimo Patre Cornelio a Lapide S.J. professore Societ. Iesu'' . The original surname made illegible and replaced by Cornelio. The colophon on leaf 136 recto reads : ''Finis, 1613 julio 22.. x fine xxxx (coronato ?) nobilitate opus''. The manuscript is written in Latin by one hand in regular handwriting (small letters, typical early 17th c. hand). This 1613 edition not recorded in USTC. Interesting manuscript written, as dictated by A Lapide, who was professing in Louvain University in 1613. After teaching this very course he left the Netherlands for Rome were he arrived at the end of the year 1613.."
