Founded in 1997, San Francisco Book Company is an English language bookshop located in the heart of the Left Bank of Paris.
We offer a wide range of books including pocketbook fiction, mysteries, science fiction, academic, esoteric and collectible titles on a wide variety of subjects: history, art, science, philosophy, religion, humanities, theater, music, film, food, children's etc.
Our inventory is primarily used but we also stock a limited number of new books of popular titles that are always in demand.
We do special orders of single titles both new and used and offer our services to schools and other institutions who require multiple copies of the same title or large collections on specific subjects.
Our website can be browsed by subject, author, title or keyword. We post books worldwide and accept credit cards, Paypal, bankwire, and checks drawn on a French bank.
If you can't find what you're looking for or are not exactly sure what you're looking for just ask. More often than not we can find it and get it.
We also buy books of all kinds and in all quantities. There is normally a buyer on duty at all times in the shop but it's good to call before you come in. We do make house calls but it depends on the quantity and quality of what is offered. We pay cash and also offer credit at a higher rate to be applied to our inventory.
