Ouvrage orné de 11 gravures sur cuivre des plus curieuses, oeuvres de Pierre-Yves Trémois, mêlant la représentation d'animaux (dromadaire, aigle, sphinge, mammouth, saint-Pierre, auroch, chauve-souris, caméléon, serpent, et singe) avec des formules mathématiques, signes cabalistiques, graffitis, cartes de géographie, armes, pièces mécaniques, etc... Les caractères arabe, copte, éthiopien, grec, hébreu, ninivite, phénicien, syriaque, et tibétain ont tous été composés à la main et imprimés par le service du livre de l'Imprimerie Nationale. Couverture rempliée en parchemin. Chemise-étui en demi-parchemin ornée d'un motif de soleil d'or sur fond couleur vieil étain, rayonnant d'inscriptions étranges. Avec une SUITE DES 11 GRAVURES dans un port-folio recouvert de toile grise. Ensemble en très bon état. Illustrations curieuses et saisissantes.
