Plein veau tabac glacé, doubures bord à bord de box gris bleuté, gardes de daim de même teinte, couverture en papier Vergé d'Arches remplié, imprimée en noir et en rouge sur le plat supérieur et en noir sur le plat inférieur et le dos, dos titré or, tranches dorées. Sous une chemise demi-veau tabac titrée au dos et étui bordé recouvert de toile de même teinte (F. Brindeau, sd). ÉDITION ORIGINALE : 20 ex. sur Vergé d'Arches teinté, avec l'eau-forte et une suite en quatre couleurs des zincographies, leur superposition en noir et en couleurs, numérotés de 1 à 20 + 6 ex. avec l'eau-forte et une "double suite" en quatre couleurs des zincographies, leur superposition en noir et en couleurs, numérotés de 1 à 6 en chiffres romains. Ces 26 exemplaires de tête sont signés à l'encre rouge par l'auteur et au crayon de différentes couleurs (crayon arlequin) par l'artiste. Notre exemplaire est l'un des 20 numérotés de 1 à 20. Il comporte : - 1 EAU-FORTE ET GRAVURE AU BURIN (150 x 118 mm), non datée (1942), non signée : Un portrait de Dora Maar. - 4 ZINCOGRAPHIES retravaillées en taille-douce par l'artiste (165 x 115); (165 x 115); (142 X 112); (165 x 115 mm), non datées [1942], non signées. - LA SUPERPOSITION EN NOIR ET EN COULEURS DES ZINCOGRAPHIES ET LA SUITE EN 4 COULEURS DE CHAQUE ZINCOGRAPHIE. Georges Hugnet à dédicacé cet exemplaire à l'encre rouge à Monsieur Jean Masurel en date du 15 juin 1942., de sa très belle écriture. Under a tobacco half-calfskin shirt titled on the back and bordered case covered with canvas of the same shade (F. Brindeau, nd). FIRST EDITION, FIRST PRINTING: 20 copies on Vergé d'Arches tinted, with the original etching and a four-color suite of zincographies, their superposition in black and colors, numbered from 1 to 20 + 6 ex. with etching and a "double suite" in four colors of zincographies, their superposition in black and colors, numbered from 1 to 6 in Roman numerals. These 26 lead copies are signed in red ink by the author and in pencil of different colors (harlequin pencil) by the artist. Our copy is one of 20 numbered from 1 to 20. Georges Hugnet dedicated this copy in red ink to Mr. Jean Masurel on June 15, 1942., in his very beautiful handwriting. Under the half-title, handwritten poem in red ink (poem printed on page 37).
