‎Magnifique petit manuscrit religieux islamique correspondant probablement à un passage du coran. Le texte est soigneusement rédigé à lencre noire dans un encadrement à lencre rouge. Lensemble est compris dans un encadrement noir ou rouge et pour certains, les points sont rehaussé à lor. Le texte des premiers et derniers feuillets est joliment embelli par un encadrement fleuri vert rouge et bleu. La petite taille de ce coran indique quil avait probablement vocation à être transporté dans la poche de son lecteur ou dans une sacoche prévue à cet effet. 1 miniature vol. (40 x 30 mm) of : [117] manuscript ff. Full calf, smooth untitled spine. Beautiful small Islamic religious manuscript probably corresponding to a passage from the Koran. The text is carefully written in black ink in a red ink frame. The whole is included in a black or red frame and for some, the points are enhanced with gold. The text of the first and last leaves is nicely embellished by a green, red and blue floral frame. The small size of this Qur'an indicates that it was probably intended to be carried in the pocket of its reader or in a bag provided for this purpose.‎
