‎Edizione del 1729 di questi elementi di geometria del matematico e umanista Andrè Tacquet (1612-1660) gesuita di Anversa. Tacquet aderì al metodo della geometria di Euclide e alla filosofia di Aristotele. Si opponeva al metodo degli indivisibili. All'interno dell'opera elementi di geometria piana e solida dalle teorie di Archimede, trigonometria piana e sferica. Alla fine del volume 16 tavole ripiegate con figure geometriche. In discrete condizioni ma completo. Copertina in piena pergamena coeva con titolo manoscritto al dorso in buone condizioni generali con lievi usure ai margini e dorso. Dorso ricoperto da carta decorata. Legatura in discrete condizioni con lievi rotture. corpo del libro quasi del tutto staccato. All'interno le pagine si presentano in buone condizioni con fioriture. In good conditions and complete. Parchment coeval cover with handwritten title in the spine in good general conditions lightly worn in the extremities. Spine covered by decorated paper.
