Poème autographe non signé de Théodore de Banville, intitulé "Les exilés", 20 lignes à l'encre noire comportant des ratures et des corrections. Trace de pliures verticales et horizontales inhérentes à la mise sous pli. En angle supérieur droit du feuillet, le poète a inscrit ces quelques mots :« envoi de livre à Don Bernardo Calderon ». Ce poème de quatre quatrains semble inédit et ne pas avoir été retenu dans le recueil "Les exilés" paru en 1867. «Ce livre, pleurant sur la gloire Et sur le bonheur envolé, Renferme toute notre histoire? Qui donc n'est pas un exilé ? [...] Heureux celui qui sous la mer, Penchant son triste front blémi, Poursuit sa route aride et nue En tenant la main d'un ami !... » Beau quatrain de Théodore de Banville probablement inédit. - Photos sur www.Edition-originale.com -
