France Filiber & Nuits C1940 Un bel exemple de ce menu, signé dans l'assiette par Alpi. Dimensions : 21 x 27 cm déplié - 13,5 x 21 cm plié. Impression en couleur avec estampage à la feuille d'or. Les trois bouteilles sont représentées au recto. Au verso, la page est en grande partie vierge pour permettre d'écrire le menu, avec le titre en haut. Des caricatures de vignerons ornent les bords supérieurs. Un bel exemplaire de ce menu à vin, en excellent état.
A lovely example of this menu, signed in the plate by Alpi. Dimensions 21 x 27 cm unfolded - 13.5 x 21 cm folded. Full-colour printing with gold foil stamping. The three bottles are shown to the front. To the verso is a mainly blank page to write a menu on, with the title to the top. Cartoons of vineyard workers adorn the top edges. A lovely example of this wine menu, in excellent condition. .

Légèrement frottée mais en bon état. Aujourd'hui recouverte d'une jaquette de protection. À l'intérieur, les pages sont légèrement jaunies, mais dans l'ensemble en bon état. Cet ouvrage a été publié dans le cadre de la « Bibliothèque de la Société des agriculteurs de France » et donne des conseils pratiques aux propriétaires de vignobles. vii, [i], 166 pages. 22 cm x 14 cm. Victor Vermorel (1848-1927), ingénieur, viticulteur et inventeur français connu pour ses équipements de pulvérisation et ses travaux sur les maladies de la vigne.
First edition. A scarce work on the utilisation of the by products of wine making. Original hardback, with red leather spine and gilt titles. Marbled boards. Both a little rubbed but sound. Now covered in protective cover. Inside, the pages are a little darkened, but in overall sound condition. This work was published as part of the "Bibliothèque de la Société des agriculteurs de France" and give vineyard owners actionable advice. vii, [i], 166 pages. 22cm x 14cm. Victor Vermorel (18481927), a French engineer, viticulturist, and inventor known for his spraying equipment and work on grapevine diseases. .

Couverture souple marron avec de nombreuses décorations dorées. En bon état, avec quelques traces d'usure sur les bords et des frottements sur les bords biseautés. Pages de garde magnifiquement illustrées. Le colophon indique que l'ouvrage a été rédigé par le personnel de la banque Lloyds. La préface est signée « J.J. Ellis '30 », ce qui laisse supposer qu'Ellis a réalisé la calligraphie et les bordures. Les autres pages sont signées par G. Boyle et Courntey Rowley. Grandes illustrations signées par C.F. Greatbach, S.P, R.F. Castledine, Lane et Courtney Rowley. Plusieurs reproductions attrayantes de cartes anciennes. Un bel exemplaire de matériel promotionnel de 1930. First edition. An illustrated history produced by Lloyds bank on the occasion of their opening of a new head office. Brown soft covers with profuse gilt decoration. In good condition, with some edgewear and rubbing to the bevelled edges. Beautifully illustrated end papers. The colophon states that the work is written by staff of Lloyds bank. To the foreword, is signed "J.J. Ellis '30" so it would appear that Ellis did the calligraphy and borders. Other pages are signed by G. Boyle & Courntey Rowley. large illustrations signed by C.F. Greatbach; S.P; R.F. Castledine; Lane; and Courtney Rowley. Several attractive reproductions of old maps. A beautiful item of 1930'3 promotional material. Unpaginated but 72 pages. 29cm x 22cm. .

Il s'agit des numéros 1 et 3 de la série « Old nursery Rhymes » (Vieux comptines). D'après les publicités au dos, il semblerait qu'il s'agisse de premières éditions, datant certainement d'avant 1915. Couverture cartonnée illustrée. Les couvertures sont légèrement abîmées, mais restent tout à fait présentables. 1) Le livre de grand-mère : 1913. Non paginé, mais 28 pages. End papers are darkened and a light stain to the corner of the final page, otherwise clean and tidy.
