Later edition of the fictional voyage the young Anacharsis travels in Greece. It is a masterpiece of erudition, composition and style."" (Larousse) The novel had a profound influence across Europe and the United States. It was reprinted numerous times and translated into several languages. (Brunet I, 674 - not listing the present edition).
