Naar de filosofie van het Kasteel van Gaasbeek treden de werken van grote namen en aanstormende talenten in dialoog met de romantische kasteelinterieurs. We ontmoeten slapende figuren en poetische dagdromers, maar ook mysterieuze schimmen en beklemmende nachtmerries. Bezoekers worden ondergedompeld in een onwerkelijke sfeer, geinspireerd door het blauwe uur. Je komt terecht in een intermediaire wereld, die zweeft tussen dag en nacht, tussen waak en slaap.
