‎In Belgie is hij al sinds de jaren 90 bekend om zijn meubelontwerpen in metaal en de inrichting van prive- en handelsruimten. Verder maakte Xavier Lust zeer snel zijn opwachting in de besloten kringen van de internationale editie. Sinds Le Banc die werd uitgegeven door MDF Italia, werkt hij met deze uitgever samen, maar ok met wereldwijd gereputeerde merken als De Padova, Driade, Moroso en Extremis. Lust kreeg in 2003 de Henry van de Velde Prijs vor Jong Talent van VIZO. Zijn mebuels zijn herkenbaar aan hun strakke lijn. Hij (ver)vormt metalen oppervlakken wat nieuwe perspectieven opent voor stadsmeubilair, tafelkunst, badkamers, verlichting, de bekleding van elektrische producten Zijn talent zit in de manier om creativiteit op papier en simulatie in 3D te combineren met een subtiele aanpak in de praktijk. ‎

‎In Belgium, he has been known since the 1990s for his furniture designs in metal and the decoration of private and commercial spaces.
