Binding discoloured, some wear at the joints, Top turn-in a litle damaged, endpaper unevenly browned, interior fine, without stains or foxing. Still an acceptable copy . With the printed armorial bookplate of Thomas Somers Vernon Cocks. One of the first books published in English (with French texts of the letters) on the exploits of this Frenchman.
