1913 44 p., 2 plates, royal 4to, paperbound (original printed covers). Has the main title-page etc. to the completed volume of these molluscs groups. A good part of the lower margin of the text part has been eaten by mice! But they stopped at the plates and the main title-page, which is placed after the plates, so these are fine. Although a good deal of the blank margin is eaten, the mice had the courtesy to stop before the text begins. A working copy only.From 1899 to 1900 the HMS "Siboga" explored the waters of the Netherland’s East Indies (now Indonesia), were an enormous collection of both shallow water and deep water organisms was gathered. This part describes and depicts several land molluscs, but mainly shelled opisthobranchs (Bulla, Ringicula, Cilichna, Atys etc.).
