Land Shells". Original printed covers bound in. Last paper with punch holes in the left margin (hardly visible). From the library of the American malacologist Richard Irwin Johnson (1925-2020) with his stamp on the first paper.Important contributions to the knowledge of the distribution and speciation in several groups of Philippine land shells. Bartsch included descriptions of new species and subspecies, as well as distribution maps. Some papers belong to the scarcest titles in the series United States Museum Bulletin. This is all that has been written by Paul Bartsch on Philippine molluscs. The rather short but well-illustrated paper on shipworms is the only one on marine species.‎
