1954-1975 In five volumes, first three bound in half morocco and last two in half cloth. Library stamps and some wear on first three volumes, else a good set of the first 50 (of 59) papers that Eisner wrote on Parnassia. The first two volumes of this set with many annotations (probably by Eisner himself) and inserted are some additional notes, original photographs used in the large two-volume issue of no 49, and an original coloured drawing of three Chinese specimens of Parnassia.The German entomologist Curt Eisner (1890-1981) was a specialist on the butterfly subfamily Parnassinae, and started a series of papers that he named Parnassia Nova after the journal of that name (without Nova of course) by the Swedish entomologist Felix Bryk.
