1912-1915 Four parts in four. 575 p., 4 coloured plates, original uniform green embossed cloth with gilt titles on spines and gilt BM(NH) logo on front boards. Important publication with a world-wide scope, on this large group of wasps. Part I deals with the tribes Ophionides and Metopiides; II contains the Rhyssides, Echthromorphides, Anomalides and Paniscides; III Pimplides and Bassides; and IV contains the Joppides, Banchides, and Alomyides. Single parts are common, but a complete uniform set like this one is more difficult to obtain. The same institutional bookplate on the front paste-down of all volumes, volume 1 also with a blindstamp on the title page leaf, minor rubbing to boards, otherwise a very good set.
