‎1827 4, xxxviii, 369 p., contemporary half calf with marbled boards, spine richly gilt. Small narrow waterstain in inner margin of first few pages. Two small blue paper parts stuck on title-page (on blank space). A few old, short underlinings in the text. Scarce first and only edition of this botanical survey of the Anjou. The first 4 four pages are often lacking in copies as this is the ‘’flyer’’ in which the publishing of the book is announced and the price is set and inscriptions to the book can be made.Bound in at rear is another work ‘’Journal de Botanique, appliquée a l’agriculture, a la pharmacie, a la médecine et aux arts. Tome Quatrième’’ edited by Desvaux and published in 1814 (288 p, plates are not present, a few wormholes). It contains several papers by Desvaux like: Essai sur l’histoire Botanique, Médicale et Economique des Bananiers (45 p.) / Description de plusieurs Espèces du genre Polypode (11 p.) / Sur les ouvrages de M. Rafinesque-Schmalz (10 p.) etc. But there are also contribution by other scientists like: Petit-Thouars, Bucholz, Planche, La Pilaye, Brown, Kuhnt, Jaume St.-Hilaire, Tussac, Thiébault de Berneaud, Baron de Courset etc.‎
