Frontispice de François Chauveau, gravé par J. Langlois. Reliure en plein veau marron, dos à nerfs orné, pièce de titre en maroquin rouge (reliure de lépoque). Coiffes arasées et coins émoussés. Belle édition de Salluste due aux soins du protestant vaudois Daniel Crespin (1640 1716), un protégé de lérudit Pierre-Daniel Huet (1630 1721), évêque dAvranches, et dédiée au Grand Dauphin (1661 1711), fils aîné de Louis XIV. ‎
