Probably the second edition, with a preface. Richly illustrated with engravings, town and village views, landscapes, mountains, mounteneering, glaciers, costumes, animals, railways, etc. For this new edition much new topics have been introduced and upwards of thirty new illustrations have been added a large proportion by Swiss artists they will be found worthy to take their place alongside those by Mr. Whymper, greatly admired in the earlier editions.
