London, M.A. Nattali. 1847, folio (27 x 37 cm). printed titlepage + 20 full-page hand-coloured lithographs, comprising 1 frontispiece (by Ackermann dated 1845), 1 dedication leaf and 18 scenic views, with 16 blank protective leaves + 12 printed leaves (title + list of plates + 10 textleaves), Intermittent very light marginal foxing and browning, mostly affecting verso of plates. Quarter leather. Raised bands. Marbled endpapers. Inside front hinge starting, small accident to title on spine. All edges gilt. On the whole a very good and sound copy in a contemporary binding.
