Inscribed on the first free endpaper: "For Florio, with much love from Sh[?], Rio de Janeiro, December 29th, 1966 (sorry I was on slow...)" Half-title page, list of books by Elizabeth Bishop, title page, information page, dedicatory page "For Lota de Macedo Soares", Acknowledgments, List of contents (poems written in/about Brazil and elsewhere), book starting with the author's arrival in Santos. Some white spots on the cloth covers, foxing on the half-title page. Otherwise a very good copy, pages are clean and crisp (with occasional small foxing on some), the binding is sturdy.
