Nel 1836 incontra l’Abate Antonio Rosmini e ne nasce una profonda amicizia. Contribuisce a diffondere l’opera di Rosmini attraverso i suoi saggi e scritti filosofici: la sua opera più importante si intitola Fragmens Philosophique.‎
