In Russian. Short description: Lazarev P.P. Physical foundations of the principle of relativity. Moscow 1922. The leading scientists reflect on the theory of relativity and its influence both on other branches of physics and on science in general. The central place in the book is occupied by the work of the outstanding Russian physicist and biophysicist Academician of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR P.P. Lazarev (1878-1942) where he sets out the experimental physical foundations that led to the principle of relativity and having indicated its simplest formulation shows what consequences it leads to. An article by the great French mathematician physicist and philosopher Henri Poincar? (1854-1912) contains his reflections on the new mechanics that resulted from the development of the principle of relativity and its relation to classical mechanics and astronomy. The great German physicist Max Planck (1858-1947) in his work reflects on the possibility of mutual adaptation of various sections of physics (in particular mechanics electrodynamics and thermodynamics) to each other and their further connection into a single theory of a higher order.
