In Russian. Short description: Kautsky Carl. Driving Forces and Prospects of the Russian Revolution. Answer G.V. Plekhanov to the questions posed in his questionnaire regarding electoral agreements. St. Petersburg 1907. Kautsky's article was an answer to three questions posed by Plekhanov to leading European socialists. Plekhanov asked first about the general character of the Russian revolution: is it bourgeois or social-democratic? Secondly about the attitude of the Social Democrats towards bourgeois democracy. Thirdly about the support by the Social Democratic Party of the opposition parties in the elections to the Duma. Kautsky's answer appeared in Neue Zeit Nos. 9 10-25 Jahrg. bd. I. In two notebooks of the theoretical organ of the German Social Democracy the Neue Zeit Kautsky published an article on The Driving Forces and Prospects of the Russian Revolution.
