publicatie over de abstracte werken van de jaren 50 van Paul van Hoeydonck , Paul van Hoeydonck is een Belgisch beeldhouwer, schilder, tekenaar, collagekunstenaar en graficus. In 1941 volgde hij aan de Academie in Antwerpen een avondcursus tekenen en hij werkte later in het tekenatelier van Jos Hendrickx Behaalde graduaat kunstgeschiedenis aan het Kunsthistorisch Instituut in Antwerpen, en ook aan het Instituut voor Kunstgeschiedenis en Oudheidkunde in Brussel volgde hij cursussen. Vanaf 1955 volgt een korte periode geometrisch abstract, Paul Van Hoeydonck wordt lid of medestichter van de groepen "ArtAbstrait", "Formes" en "Art Construit". In 1957 creeert hij zijn eerste monochrome wit abstracte "Lichtwerken".
