Handwritten ex-libris from 1824. (Frontispiece folding map and other ills. a bit foxed but a fine/good copy) A history of the 1793 civil war in the Vendée. The author spent her youth at the court in Versailles and married first the marquess de Lescure (who became general in the insurgents' army) and later Henri de la R., the generalissimo's brother - point at which she ends her memoirs. Later the Belgian Robiano completed the history of the war.
