London, Avans Brothers Limited, printed by Hazell, Watson and Viney ( London & Aylesbury), s.d. (after 14th june 1941), 88 pp + inserted maps. Polycopied publication made in typescript, printed on recto side only, poor quality paper. In good condtion, but the margins of the last pages show some marginal fraying. With nail staples and original blind wrapper. This is the first official Belgian account of the German invasion into Belgium and the the defeat of the Belgian army which followed. The texts ends with the publication of some letters to newspapers and English political figues in which the capitulation of King Leopold is defended. The precarious state of the Belgian Gouvernment in exile in London can be deduced from the poor quality of the publication. Very rare, later on in the war it was followed by better executed editions.
