Still an acceptable copy. Charles Loyseau (1564 - 1627) was president of the Parisian Bar and is chiefly remembered for his study '' Traité des ordres et simples dignités'', first published in 1610. His collected works were published in 1666 by Claude Joly, cannon of Notre Dame de Paris. The first edition of the traicté was from 1601. Other editions were published in 1606 and 1614 (3rd edition). This fourth edition not in the BN Paris."
