(Bruxelles), Veuve Deboubers, 25 Mei 1816, large in-plano poster, three leaves tipped together, 125 x 53 cm, title in French, text printed in two columns (Dutch and French), some contemporary manuscript corrections, slightly foxed, a small hole without loss of text in the lower margin. Rare. Ordinance on marriage law made out by the newly appointed governor of the province of Southern Brabant This province was just recently joined to the Northern Netherlands after the Battle at Waterloo. Raren these outsize posters were only printed in a few copies to be posted on billboards where they were discarded after some time.
